Dr Ariel Drori is an experienced gastroenterologist and endoscopist, with special interest in advanced endoscopic procedures, Inflammatory bowel diseases and general gastroenterology.
Dr Drori graduated from the Hebrew University-Hadassah medical school (magna cum laude) in 2011 and completed his internship and residency in Internal medicine at Hadassah Medical Centre, Jerusalem, Israel, while serving as the chief resident of the Internal medicine division.
Later, Dr Drori completed his advanced training (fellowship) in Gastroenterology and liver diseases at Shaare Zedek Medical Centre, Jerusalem, Israel, and continued working in that institute for additional two years as a senior Gastroenterologist (consultant).In 2021, Dr Drori came to New Zealand and joined the Gastroenterology service at the Fallen Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital in Hawke’s Bay (former Hawke’s Bay DHB) as a consultant Gastroenterologist and a senior Endoscopist.
Since November 2022 Dr Drori serves as the Clinical lead of the Gastroenterology service at the hospital and provides scientific and medical consultation to start-up and technological companies. Dr Drori also published a dozen scientific articles in a variety of subjects.
